Didn’t bother reading the story, because it seemed a tired trope of other things I’ve read (Isaku/Kisaku letch series, Akatsuki Myuuto – Bisyoujo Club (way better story)).
The “true” idiosyncrasy of that story, if you’re curious as to the final output without having to bother yourself with reading it, is the reversal in perspective (hoping that expression also works in English). The *factual* remains, but the *subjective* does a 180. The fatso is indeed a rapist with skill at mindbreaking women. But by the end of the volume, in addition, he becomes the saviour of the women, who are grateful he saved them from an even worse fate, with a “happy” ending in which they live happily together, with strong ties, respect among peers, and hopes for a shining future.
Which is weird, to say the least.
“respect amongst peers” is a little too strong an expression for basically a rapist asshole who’s only redeeming quality is that he is slightly less of an ass than the original ring of trafickers. The women are just broken into being happy serving him as his own personnal harem instead of being sold off to other bastards who probably are just as scummy as he is.
Sure, they look happy, and can probably play the part very well since they where basically trained to be as happy as can be with a dick up in them….but it’s very much a “subjective happiness”
But then again, that’s just IMO…

You’re no less trapped than us in that contradiction, between the objective and subjective. Objective: just as I wrote, rapes, mindbreaks, harems. Yep, I made it a verb. Subjective: ends with happiness as part of the mindbreaker’s harem who saved them from worse (mindbroken and influential man’s sex slaves, treated even worse, and alone), and among the harem they love each other truly and care for each other.

I dont believe in the “two wrong makes a right” (yes, another subjective topic
) and the fact that he objectively makes them happier still doesnt make then not broken, completely unable to decide or tell for themselves what they want, just having their core beliefs and personality overwritten to be semen toilet = happiness. Personally, i find this vile, but objectively, i understand that they could’ve been in a far worst situation. But to me it still looks like being offered a choice between death by hanging or death by execution squad. Both choices arent really choices at all, were imposed on the poor girls without taking their well being or wants into consideration at all, only the selfishness of Heizo and his whims (wich could easily turn dark if he ever gets bored with them) and the fact that they are so fucking broken that they are willing to break more girls for his affection makes this just sad.
Is it a better ending than them being scattered to the wind for other bastards to use and abuse? Arguably yes, if you only take their surface feelings of hapiness in being dicked to be the sum of their existance (wich debase them as human beings) but i personnaly cannot call that “hapiness” at all, and certainely cannot see this in any positive light.
As for them not being alone being better, well, i guess misery does love compagny.

On my humble personal opinion is that it is annoying because it is a complete utopia served as opium for a society with a ruling class and a ruled class. A myth created and spread by the ruling class, it say that the majority of this world are just hopeless and useless lambs who cannot do anything but have to silently wait for a benevolent shepherd to dominate and enslave them in a more benign way and then everybody will be happy.
The annoying thing here is that, the male MC is still branded as “good guy” although he trampled on other people. This is an annoyingly arrogant point of view of the ruling class in the society, whose aims is legitimization of their dominance and enslavement on other people.
