I wouldn’t have imagined, a few years ago, that I would be reluctant to sharing a manga by Fueta Kishi.
But there we are, with a new release that is disappointing as fuck, both in terms of drawings (sloppy, accumulating more and more anatomical mistakes, and showing gross laziness) and in terms of story (look, I don’t mind if an artist intents to deliver netorare, as long as it’s well written, griping netorare, not a lazy half-baked tedious chore.)

This release is the sequel to Hayami-san Wa Me Ga Mienai 1, in which an initially candid and pure blind girl is “stolen” from her male childhood friend and introduced to being a cum dump – in short. And now, the male MC finishes corrupting her and lends her to friends.

… I had a thought: in a way, it’s an aggravating detail, I don’t hate that hentai represents ugly male MCs succceeding in getting themselves a girlfriend, it’s cool… But… Why must the ugly male MCs almost always be huge scumbags who have to destroy things? Fugly in body, fugly in soul? Fuck hentai, sometimes.

Well, yes, but no, Garm, lol. Precisely, good netorare is hard to find because it’s suuuuuper easy to do shit.
But… errrr… how to express it… You heard of the term of catharsis? When you’re exposed to violent negative emotions in a theater play, and even though you didn’t truly like the story in itself (dramatic, bad ending, tear jerker, depressing), it leaves you with the impression you’ve had your soul cleansed and you somehow feel more at peace with the world?
Sometimes, netorare, when it is well written, has that effect. You may still find the story was despicable and the characters were hate-able, but it still leaves you the impression you were with a good story and your inner turmoil has been appeased… Or something like that…
It’s like a tabletop rpg game, really. The game master has to play the game right, know how to mislead the players and not let them realize they’re being betrayed, and then toy with their reactions with machiavelism. If it’s done right, even grim game scenarii are worth it.

is, A beutiful wife’s bare face hidden from her husband by Hoshino Ryuichi, it got a nice plot twist in it.
I kinda stopped reading Fueta Kishi around the time the elf series started to go downhill when it felt like the main character got smacked in the head with a pipe and went the whole mr hyde route and started being an absolute douche nozzle.
That and he went way deep into eating that one elf’s asshole, and that is not a “figurative turn of phrase” I mean he went Gene Simmons on that girls ass… (shudder).
What puzzles me is that it’s not just the scenarii that went downhill (I will not blame a mangaka to choose the road that ensures the greater sales number, if netorare sells, then so be it), but the art too.
As if the mangaka stopped giving a fuck, plain and simple.
42 pages, a lot of work to produce nothing.
Like the hentai version of the bridge to nowhere.
Actually the problem is why, people presenting things like using dirty tricks, using power to bully and to destroy the weak… as something moral and right.
It is the same formula in many pieces, especially in many NTR pieces, when selfishness and disrespect of other’s rights is presented as something good.
I don’t know if I misread the whole thing. But I feel that the MC in these pieces achieved success by tramping on and bloodsucking others, and they walked away unscathed, while the victims suffered, and both the writers and the readers are believing that the MC is right, the victims are wrong, and they are laughing at the suffering of the victims.
