That volume’s quite simple, in terms of story, Taihou, one of the Azur Lane girls, wearing this time a splendid evening dress, goes to the hotel with her commander (it’s not Admiral, in Azur Lane?!? O_o ), and they do the usual thing (paizuri, doggystyle, cowgirl).
What kept me interested was the smooth quality of the art, so to say. The art was top tier without being godly, but it was “consistent”, no screwup, and such a milky body, with excellent breasts for paizuri, beautiful long flowing hair, and thin hips for cowgirl, well, that was good enough, far, far good enough 
Edit: and now, the manga is perversion-flavoured, as it’s been noted in the comments, Taihou wears a wedding ring while the commander doesn’t :3

The wedding ring caught my eye almost instantly. I’d like to think she was on a date with her husband, but I’m having trouble imaging a wife referring to her spouse as “Commander”. I can imagine him referring to her as “my personal pontoons” or perhaps, “the world’s best flotation device.” At the very least, “God’s gift to masturbation”!
Oh boy, I didn’t notice that. Well, I’m off to adding the cheating and adultery tags.
Still, when you think it’s a one night stand, it sheds a different life on the story. Less vanilla, more perverted with the intoxicating taste of corruption…
I didn’t think to look before but there’s LOTS of shots of the commander’s ring-less hands on her … torpedo bays. Very high likelihood of adultery!

Possible alternative; wedding ring might have been worn as a potential deterrent to would-be ‘perverted wolves’ looking for a pick-up (knew a lady who did so IRL once). Story doesn’t go too far, so chances are we’re just speculating.
In Azur Lane, whoever the player (Commander) marries, his spouse will always keep calling their husband as “Commander” no matter what (the same applies to Kantai Collection, I believe). Also, the Commander not wearing a wedding ring could be beause he just recently proposed to Taihou, thus they’re not truly married yet. Furthermore, Takaharu has yet to do a cheating/NTR story, so there’s that to consider.
Hmmm. I shall ponder your words, but that ring is just so prominent, with no references to marriage. Hmmm.

We’re probably too used to the more typical weddings where both wear rings, but in the game, it’s you as the Commander who’s getting rings for the ships you pledge with, so I don’t necessarily think anyone is cheating here. Especially since Taihou is… shall we say “very devoted” to the Commander, whom she calls by title in the start of this doujin.
I mean… yeah, there are probably other doujin where both of them have rings. I’m just saying the Commander not having one doesn’t necessarily mean cheating. But if you’re dead set on fantasizing about that…. I guess nothing I say is going to matter.
