It’s a new way to look at netorare to me. At first I was viewing it as complete shit.
Then I came to somehow, in a most twisted way, become able to appreciate it, because I was now appreciating if – IF! – the story was properly written, and judging if the mangaka was able to adequately/successfully toy with the reader’s emotions. I was looking at NTR hentai as if it were a tabletop RPG: did the game master manage to trick us, or did we see it coming?
… And now, I’ve found a third way to look at NTR: sometimes, it’s exclusively written to allow us to vent life’s frustrations by directing our negative emotions at someone so abysmally pathetic it’s allright hate him/her, and we feel better because we’ve let our anger out at someone who deserves it.
