This is the Lodoss hentai doujinshi that I always wanted to exist. And read.
Maybe it will be different for you, but me, Lodoss filled my younger self’s imagination to the brim. Beautiful song, thank you, never heard it before. The doujin was quite nice as well, partly because it's the first time I've NOT seen an elf get raped (rolls eyes.) Next I'll find a Belldandy story without NTR, which is equally unlikely.

Okito Endo's art style lends well to elves and fantasy, even though he's equally capable of mechanical stuff–he has a non-H Kantai Collection doujin "Sakura no Kantai" where the girls are basically robots (mechanical inside).

To be honest, if Lodoss came out today, we wouldn't have been so hyped. But at the time of its release, that was shockingly full of awesomesauce.
I completely agree. I watched Loddos as a twenty something young man. My favorite part was the very beginning, the battle of the gods. Pure awesomeness! But after that the story was plain and simple. By that time I have already read LotR and could not avoid making comparisons.

Chara design and music of Lodoss are top notch. After that, animation is average and story is overall pretty boring and cliché.

Well, reportedly the whole story is a writeup of somebody's D&D campaign, so it's not surprising that the highlights are characters and world-building. They actually tried to sell the setting to TSR, I believe.
I love the Lodoss series. The TV show, the OAV… it mattered not. I had the VHS and replaced them with DVDs years ago. But it has been a while since I've seen them.
I think they may have just jumped back to the top of my to be (re)watched list.
It's funny how the Hentai world portray Elves as those well endowed lady with the only Elven feature being pointy hair and the purity or corruption(dark and high elve) ,while European portray there as either androgynous human or tiny creature . Not that I mind , it allow for the most arousing character in the hentai world .
