The source stays the same : the partition where I store all my past shares, as hentairules archives. I went through the ordeal of mass-updating it with my latest shares through this whole month of December, finished around dec. 17th, and made a final additional update on Dec. 24th.
I’ll be more accurate, I made updating changes.
Some works were removed from the 2014 version : those that I identified as duplicates or as obsolete – for instance because of a posterior tank integration – and that I wasn’t too lazy to remove.
Also, some artists didn’t have yet a folder with their own name in the 2013 version, while, now, they have a folder with their own name with, inside them, their various works.
So there will be a very minor part of overlapping data. Not that much, but a little.
I understand,but there are a problem vecause i have delete most of collection,i save only all i like..so its a bit kind hard to find all manga from 2013 and 2014 and i cant remember what i dont need or need to have when start torrent with "only"a 375gb lol….so ouch! i think its well no way to have only 2013 and 2014 in a new torrent because its too hard for you(oliver) to find all(2013+2014) in your HDisk,right?

When the torrent was made, there was a checkbox enabled that put a "private=1" flag in the torrent.
This flag turns off, on any torrent it's in, ALL of the features (DHT, peer exchange, etc) required for the magnet to work. (People won't be able to actually download the .torrent information let alone the files in it).

I noticed that there are missing about 491,6 MB of Bosshi works in the new Torrent compared with the original torrent.
Mose, if you look carefully, they're the WANI-removed volumes, I agreed with them I would not share the volumes they listed to me be email.

hey, I’m seeing 0 seeds. If someone with everything can help seed, I don’t mind leaving my seedbox on it for a while.
It's possible. I'm now seeing 4 seeds (and 33 that I'm not connected to), but I haven't made any progress in nearly a day (stuck at 86.2%) despite having uploaded a little over 1TB since I started ~3 days ago.
It's clearly not a problem with the connection, since I managed to get 86% done, and I'm still chugging away seeding at 4MB/s, but download has come to a standstill. I'll try restarting my client and seeing if that helps…
That was it -_- I told my client not to go after videos so it stalled on the download. Thanks for the help, sorry about all this trouble

So.. if I downloaded a the 2014 gigatorrent and you removed a file from it when you update the 2015 gigatorrent, and I put the new 2015 torrent to the same directory as the 2014 one.
Will I still have the file I got from the 2014 one? or will it be removed because it isnt on the updated 2015 one? >.< hope its not too confusing. <3
This isn't a synchronization, mate, it's only top-down ^^
Top being the internet with the torrent, down being your computer.
If the torrent client finds that what the internet has is present, exactly present, on your PC, it skips downloading it.
If the torrent client finds that what the internet has is not present in the same exact form on your PC, it downloads it.
However, you would end up with many duplicates, every folder that I renamed for any reason (like adding alternative pen names between parenthesis) would mean the whole folder would be redownloaded for, duh, for nothing.
Every file that I removed because a new and more complete version has been made since then would stay in place while the torrent client downloads the new version, this would be extremely confusing to you.
Lastly, I didn't remove NEW contents from the gigatorrents, so it's not like the 2015 version is less complete than the 2014 version, at least

If that can help, I only seldom (errr… seldom, or seldomly ?) change names. Only when this is necessary, like for new versions, or to bring additional clarity (or the occasional screwup or screwing fixing ^^). Or when I remove many folders with volume 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…. and only keep the latest folder containing a repack of every volume so far.
That said, I may (no idea) have changed the name of the "overall" top folders. The folder for mangas, for CGs, for audios, for videos…
So you may want to double-check, and if necessary, only choose the mangas, and choose to make it inside your current mangas folder from the previous torrent, you see the idea ?
I get the idea, but the lazy me still doesnt want to accept the fact that I would potentially be checking gigs of files one by one xD

You can place the files you have already in the directory structure properly and it will use them to resume.

Why was the torrent private flagged?
What do you mean, it was private flagged ?
There's a flag in the torrent that causes DHT, Peer Exchange and Local Peer Discovery to be disabled.
It can actually cause problems down the road for it to be in the torrent.
In fact, it breaks the ability to use the magnet link for the torrent.

You can blame private trackers (more accurately called logging trackers or drm trackers) for the behavior.
I can break out a program to remove the flag from the torrent so that it doesn't need to be re-made, only re-checked.
