Looking at the before picture, I'd say the original scanlator forgot to grayscale the picture. Because of that the gray areas look greenish. You could level them, like you did in the brazilian-japanese girl release, but that would not take out the green. Luckily, simply grayscaling or re-leveling a picture doesn't take much time. Still, you'd expect people to do a better job in the first place, even if it's just hentai.

I think most people simply don't care. In my opinion, just like we may love MILFs or teens, we may love clean quality scans or not give it a fuck. Even if it's a weird comparison :-/
