Does anyone know if there is a way to make the images in your pc bigger by default when you open it like in most online galleries?
For now, my images are always scaled to my screen size, which makes reading quite a hassle with me having to zoom on every new page.
Why, yes, of course, nearly all image viewers allow this. You should browse the options of your image viewer.
My personal favorite is ACD See Classic, lots of people love CDisplay, Xnview is another free comfortable alternative, Irfanview is popular though I never used it, for all of them it's possible to set the default view to be un-resized (requires you to scroll) or fit-to-screen, and, in some programs, you can even set a definite level of zoom as the default zoom level.
Me, the ONE thing I hated in most image viewers I tried, that made me come back to ACD See Classic every time : if I open a large pic, have to scroll down, and hit a key to move to the next picture, I'm INFURIATED if the next picture is opened in the same "scrolled down" position as the previous pic. Infuriated.

Try searching your addon/extension library for your browser, Fanthor. There are plenty of people who've made plugins to load images in full size on some (not all) websites.
