– it’s parodiating a popular serie (Infinite Stratos), so Infinite Stratos fans will buy.
– It’s elder sister incest : incest fans will buy.
– The heroine has large breasts and happy sex : lots of people will buy.
– The artist is popular already, guaranteed sales.
-> Meaning the doujin is already following a railroad to being a sales machine. That’s why (I sincerely believe it) doujinshi are in average much more mediocre than original mangas (whose stories are not a parody of something but an original creation), they don’t need much effort to sell well.
And yet, Akari Tsutsumi has thrown in lots of small funny details before the sex took place, he kept on winking humorously at the IS fans… Good job, Akari Tsutsumi, good job !

one thing i dont like about original works is that the character designs tend to be basic and un interesting.
