Question for those who know about that. I notice that a disproportionate amount of decensored stuff is series where the "censorship" was of the translucent grey bar variety to begin with… that is, the kind that is least in need of such attention. The question is about how feasible/difficult/time consuming it is to correct those, and by comparison to repair material defaced by black bars (especially the thick or multiple kindars or white hole?
It's over nine thousand times easier to redraw something you can actually see over something you have to imagine how the author originally drew.
